Great results for the netball girls this month!
Both of our netball teams won their games playing at home against Castle Manor.
The U12 team won 9 – 0 and the U13 team had their first win with 6-0 – we are very proud of all of them!!
A HUGE congratulations to all of the Samuel Ward Academy students who took place in the Forest Heath inter-school Swimming Festival, coming first place in the U13 Mixed Team event!

Dame Alison Peacock, Executive Head Teacher at The Wroxham School, visited Samuel Ward Academy to talk to Local Primary Head Teachers on the importance of practitioner research and using evidence to inform practice. She shared her experience of learning without limits and her ideas about life after levels!
On the 5th January 2015, Samuel Ward Academy, Newmarket Academy and Thomas Gainsborough School took part in the first ever Samuel Ward Academy Trust conference.
