We believe that school money should be located where it has the most impact; on learning within the classroom. That is why we have a very small central team, do not top slice and take decisions in partnership with our schools. There is a management fee, which contributes to teaching and learning support, leadership development and training and back office functions, but it is low. Costs are reduced further through procurement and schools within the Trust can gain additional income through deployment of their staff in other Trust schools.
